Deck Intelligence
Deck Intelligence is an in-app AI chat assistant that lets you query your feedback data in plain English. Instead of navigating reports manually, you can ask questions like "What are enterprise customers complaining about?" or "How has NPS changed for churned accounts?" and get a direct answer with links to the underlying feedback.
Availability
Deck Intelligence is available on Business and Enterprise plans. If you are on a lower tier, upgrading your subscription enables the feature immediately.
Opening the Chat Widget
A chat icon appears in the bottom-right corner of every page in the app. Click it to open the chat panel. The widget is available as:
- A popover on desktop — stays anchored to the corner while you keep working
- A drawer on mobile — slides up from the bottom
Asking Questions
Type your question in the input field and press Enter (or click Send). The assistant reads your organization's feedback data in real time and streams a response back.
Good questions to try:
- "What themes are most common among detractors this month?"
- "Summarize the top complaints from Zendesk tickets in Q1"
- "Which customer segment has the highest NPS?"
- "Are there any insights about the onboarding experience?"
- "What subthemes do you see in the Pricing theme?"
- "Which subthemes have the most negative sentiment right now?"
Citations
Every factual claim in the assistant's response is backed by a citation — a direct link to the insight, theme, NPS response, or customer service ticket the answer draws from. Citations appear as numbered references in the text and are listed in a Sources section below the response.

Page Context
Deck Intelligence is aware of which page you are on. When you open the chat while viewing a specific theme or insight, the assistant automatically focuses on that topic without you needing to repeat the context. You can still ask general questions — page context only narrows the default scope.
Suggested Questions
When the chat is empty, a set of Starter Questions appears. These are tailored to the page you are viewing and help you get started quickly. Click any suggestion to send it immediately.
Limitations
- The assistant only has access to feedback data within your organization — it cannot browse the web or access external databases
- Very large date ranges may take a few extra seconds to process
- Deck Intelligence does not modify any data — it is read-only
Privacy
All questions and responses are scoped to your organization. No data is shared across organizations. Queries are processed by Deck's AI infrastructure and are subject to the same data handling policies as all other AI features in the product.
