Dashboard

Scan Deck's snapshot-backed dashboard to spot weekly feedback changes, sentiment shifts, and linked strategic work.

Dashboard

Dashboard is a high-level Visualize overview for weekly scanning. It gives you a fast, cross-feature snapshot of what changed recently so you can decide where to drill in next.

Accessing the dashboard

Dashboard remains available at /visualize/dashboard as the high-level overview screen for weekly scanning.

The primary Visualize navigation currently opens Themes first. If you land on dashboard from a direct link or internal handoff, the full dashboard experience is still available.

What you'll see

  • A weekly summary card highlighting the most important customer signals for the current dashboard view
  • A KPI strip showing:
    • Insights (Last 7 Days)
    • Sentiment Breakdown (compact timeline)
    • Initiatives In Progress
    • New Opportunities (Last 7 Days)
  • Negative sentiment rising and Positive sentiment rising cards to surface fast-moving changes
  • Net Promoter Score summary showing the current score, recent movement, and the themes influencing the shift
  • New Themes & Patterns Created highlighting recently surfaced topics
  • Initiatives In Progress and New Opportunities tables for quick drill-in from dashboard
  • Themes Going Quiet showing issues or requests that are cooling off

First-run sample data

New workspaces with no real feedback may show onboarding sample data on Dashboard. The sample workspace demonstrates the full Deck loop before you import your own feedback:

  • feedback becomes themes and patterns
  • ranked opportunities appear in the backlog
  • initiatives show how customer evidence can become action plans
  • dashboard cards show realistic customer signal changes
  • sample interviews open as already-completed examples, so you can inspect the transcript, themes, and linked insights without waiting for processing

You can delete sample data from Dashboard. Deck asks you to confirm, then keeps the dialog open with a loading state while deletion finishes. Deleting sample data removes only the onboarding sample feedback, themes, opportunities, initiatives, and signals that Deck created for setup. Your real workspace data is not deleted.

When you add your first real feedback source, Deck removes sample data before the import or sync starts. If that cleanup cannot finish, the real ingest is stopped and can be retried.

Filters and refresh

  • Dashboard usually opens on the latest daily snapshot available for your organization
  • Dashboard is currently account-wide. It does not respond to the global segment filter, and the segment picker is hidden while you are on this page
  • If Deck cannot use a saved snapshot for the requested date, it falls back to the closest available persisted snapshot or a live server-side computation so the page still renders
  • During route transitions, Deck shows a dashboard-shaped loading skeleton so the layout stays stable while the snapshot-backed payload resolves
  • The weekly summary is designed to call out what changed, what keeps recurring, what improved, or what is cooling off rather than just listing raw counts
  • When there is not enough signal for an AI-written narrative, Deck still shows a generated fallback summary instead of leaving the header blank, and that fallback keeps the same short, natural style

How to use it

Use Dashboard as your starting point when you want to:

  • scan the latest customer signal at a glance
  • review the latest 7-day insight volume and sentiment trend
  • spot new or worsening themes before opening a detailed report
  • see which themes are accelerating, cooling off, or translating into opportunities
  • connect customer sentiment to active opportunities and initiatives
  • decide whether to drill into Themes, NPS Score, Opportunity Backlog, or Initiatives

What dashboard is best for

Dashboard is best for fast triage and weekly scanning. Use the dedicated pages across Visualize and Build when you want deeper filtering, editing, or source-by-source investigation.
